The hotel was a welcome base for enjoying a good area, really close to a conference, Chicago for vacation and the train. The room was nicely furnished and the bed very comfy. The location was favourable - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Also, this venue was situated 2 miles from tourist destination like Guaranteed Rate Field: D

The hotel is in a convenient location, near the Convention Center on the Southside, making it easy to get around using rideshare services like Lyft or Uber. The rooms are spacious and clean, with modern amenities like a comfortable bed and a well-maintained bathroom. The service provided by the owners, Mel and Angie, is exceptional - they go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cater to their needs. The delicious home-cooked breakfast adds an extra touch to the stay. I especially enjoyed the conversations with Mel, who shared interesting stories about the local history and his experiences. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit.
The hotel's location is a bit removed from the usual tourist sites, but it is easily accessible with affordable rideshare services.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a great space for rest and relaxation. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a lovely porch and garden for socializing and small parties. The location in the south side of this city was perfect, as it was in the good neighborhood of Bronzeville and only a short walk to the 47th Street train station. Additionally, the breakfast provided each morning was amazing, with a variety of freshly cooked hot and cold options. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my entire stay.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B in a historic neighborhood. From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel right at home, offering me a drink and providing helpful suggestions for exploring the area. The beautifully restored house, adorned with African and African-American artwork, was a unique and inviting place to stay. The breakfasts were delicious, and I especially appreciated the host's offer to drive us to our first destination each morning. I highly recommend this B&B for a memorable and special experience.

The breakfast was excellent, with lots of hot and cold food options. Additionally, they offered a nice porch and garden area perfect for small gatherings. The location was also very convenient as it was close to both the green and red lines, making it easy to get around.
The area might not be safe at night. We had to take a cab every time we went out, which added to our expenses.
